Volunteers are important to the work of KCAVP because they can reach other parts of the community KCAVP cannot, can complete tasks that staff members may not be able to, and are essential to the functioning and success of KCAVP. Volunteer positions include the board of directors, fundraising committee, outreach and education committee, administrative aide, and emergency victim advocate.
